Now I am going to share some important tips and tricks with you on how to sleep fast. You can easily fall asleep by following these techniques. Sleep is very important and it plays a very important role in relieving our all day's tiredness. We should need to sleep at least 7 hours a day but remember, over-sleep is harmful to our health. Proper sleep may also help to prevent heart disease and prevent increase illness duration. I hope you understand that how much important good sleep is for us. Insomnia is a common problem in many of us before going to sleep at night. It is often seen that you are trying hard to sleep. Your eyes closed but your sleep is not coming. If you face this problem then this article is for you.  I will share with you some techniques to do before you go to sleep. I also tell you some tricks used in the US military that will help you to sleep fast.


Sleep At Cool Place

The environment around you, especially if your bed pillow etc. feels hot after you sleep it is harmful to your sleep. You will notice that your sleep is much better when it rains a lot outside and the rain creates a cold environment. If not enough air can enter your room, it will affect your sleep. To sleep normally, the human body temperature has to reduce by 1.5 degrees celsius. So you understand that a cool environment is very important for good sleep.

Take A Warm Shower

Bathing in lukewarm water one to two hours before going to bed lowers the body temperature and smoothes the body's natural flow during sleep. Bathing in lukewarm water as compared to cold water cools the body after bathing so that the body is then ready for a comfortable sleep.

Avoid Caffeine And Nicotine

You should avoid coffee, chocolate, tea, smoking, etc. before going to bed. These have a detrimental effect on sleep. It contains a lot of caffeine which affects our sleep. The amount of caffeine in every 250 ml of coffee is 85 to 100 mg. Chocolate contains 20-60 mg per 200 mg and tea 50-70 mg.

Physical Exercise

If you do exercise regularly, it will keep you active throughout the day as well as help you sleep better at night. If you fall asleep in the afternoon, take a light nap, but remember that sleeping too long will affect your night's sleep. Try not to sleep after 3 pm. In the afternoon you can play sports, exercise or take a short walk. It will be very helpful for your night's sleep.

Prepare Your Mind

Make sure that you are relaxed before going to sleep. Because if you leave any work unfinished, it will keep stirring in your brain so it will be too late for you to fall asleep. That's why it is very important for you to relax before going to sleep. Relax before going to sleep. Keep reading with a book if necessary it will prepare your mind for sleep.

Stop Using Electronic Device Before Going To Bed

Stop using electronic devices such as Mobile-phone, laptops, Television for at least 30 minutes before going to bed. The blue light emitted from the screen of your mobile phone regulates the production of melatonin, a hormone that regulates your sleep cycle. The National Sleep Foundation recommends that you should stop using electronic devices, like your cellphone, at least 30 minutes before bedtime to overcome insomnia. 

U.S. Military Method For Sleeping Fast

Now I will share with you some techniques used in the US Military to fall asleep fast.  According to them, using this technique you can fall asleep in just 2 to 3 minutes wherever you are. Even if a pilot follows these techniques he will able to fall asleep in just 2 minutes while flying a plane.

  1. Relax your entire face, including the muscles inside your mouth, and Breathe slowly and deeply. 
  2. Relax your body and Drop your shoulders to release the tension and let your hands drop to the side of your body.
  3. Breath in deeply and Exhale slowly, relax your chest and then release any strain in your legs, from your thighs to your lower legs.
  4. Imagine yourself in a beautiful picturesque environment and imagine lying in a pool in a clear lake under a clear blue sky. Think of yourself lying in a black velvet hammock in a pitch-black room.
  5. Imagine a relaxing scene and clear your mind for 10 seconds.
  6. If this doesn’t work, try saying the words don't think, don't think, don't think' over and over again for 10 seconds.

If you do all these things properly, I hope you will fall asleep very soon. Although these methods seem simple to read, they are very powerful. They are also called meditation. These techniques are used in the US military. These may not be effective on the first night. If you keep practicing every night, you will understand how useful these are.
